Melissa Shenkman

Melissa joined the Perlson team in 2021 with over 20 years of experience in both public accounting and corporate financial reporting. As one of our Virtual Bookkeepers, she works with a variety of clients in food service, healthcare, start-ups and more. Melissa’s extensive experience makes her an important part of the Perlson team. She is responsible for handling general ledger reviews, sales and payroll tax, bank account reconciliations, and monitoring cash flows.

1. What about your job inspires you?

I love the continuous learning aspect of my job, especially when it means I can help clients achieve financial goals, and help them make sense of complicated financials.

2. What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I’m a Disney fanatic, but I also love to create personalized crafts and spend time with friends and family.
